It is critical to this course that you understand the syllabus and course expectations. We will review some of the important items in this blog.

As far as attendance, how many classes can I miss before I am dropped from the course?

The teacher will figure out my grade by counting class participation, test grade and blogging points. As far as attendance I can miss up to four classes before I am dropped from the course.

If a student misses at least four days, this will result in a student being dropped.

Concerning Attendance, a student is a allowed to miss no more than 4 classes without being dropped from the class. Also, if a student is more then 15 minutes late for class they are considered to be absent.

The insrtuctor wil figure out my grades by combining written assignments for 30%, Class participation for 10%, mid-term exam for 30% and final exam for 30% as well.

I think he will add up the test scores, class presentation, class participation, and class attendance to get a final grade.
I think we are only allow to miss four classes before Prof. Quinn can drop us from his interesting class. According to the student handbook, I believe two lateness is count as an absent.

This class meets twice a week, therefore we are only allotted 4 absences before we are dropped form the class. However being late twice counts as an absence. Also if you are 15 mins. late you are counted absent for that day. It is important to know that if you leave early it will also be counted as being late.

Class Participation/ Attendance-includes the prepared and thoughtful discussion of class content as well as participation in any other assignments 10%
